The international webinar Wish-Granting Without Borders: 5 Perspectives on Healing and Hope marked one of the final milestones of the Wish Alliance project. During the online event, participants from across Europe explored wish-granting through medical, psychological, social, and family perspectives, offering a unique opportunity to learn from different approaches while discovering the values shared by wish-granting organisations across Europe.

The programme featured speakers from all five Wish Alliance partner organisations. Participants heard a parent's personal story, reflections from a former wish child, insights from a volunteer, a medical social worker's perspective, and psychological expertise on the impact of wish fulfilment. Together, these diverse viewpoints demonstrated that a wish is far more than a single joyful moment—it is a carefully guided process that can strengthen children and their families throughout their journey with serious illness.
